Nearly 18,000 employed residents live in Twin Falls, with over 10,500 of them both living and working in Twin Falls. More employees commute into Twin Falls for work than leave for other places. The City has recently attracted key food processing facilities such as Chobani and Clif Bar, while other major employers such as St. Lukes Medical Center and Glanbia have made signicant expansions in the downtown core. Other food processing subcategories that are strong in Twin Falls include packaged fruit and vegetables, milling and rening of sugar, and farm wholesalers. The Twin Falls area has great access to outdoor adventure, with everything from zip line tours to base jumping, and canyon to canyon access from the Snake River to Rock Creek.
