Eorts to maximize connectivity are being driven by public safety, economic development, education, and healthcare with the goal of supporting community sustainability. The county emphasizes connectivity within the realms of Internet networks, transportation infrastructure, community and human-to-human connectedness, and connection to resources outside of the county. Supporting the existing businesses in Clearwater County is also a major priority, which it addresses through its Business Retention-Expansion (BRE) program.
