The system serves approximately 7433 people through 2700 connections.3 City of Fruitland 12 active wells, 1 active intake station The city of Fruitland drinking water system includes a surface water intake from the Payette River.4 Fruitlands water production and storage system consists of a microltration membrane water treatment plant and three storage tanks: a 200,000 gallon elevated tank, a 1,000,000 gallon ground level tank, and a 1,200,000 gallon ground level tank equipped with four booster pumps. Gravity pressure in the elevated tank provides enough water pressure to service the city. An additional high pressure booster pump has been added to create a high pressure zone for land south of city limits. The water level in the elevated tank is maintained by the water treatment plant and booster pumps that move water from the ground level tanks into the elevated tank. The citys wells have been turned o and are kept on active reserve to be used in case of an emergency. A computerized control system operates the treatment plant and wells to automatically ll the storage tanks in response to decreasing water levels. Diesel-fueled backup generators provide power for the water treatment plant and booster pumps during electrical outages. Treated drinking water is required to be chlorinated.5 The system serves approximately 5087 people through 1902 connections.6 City of New Plymouth Source of Supply: 4 Groundwater wells Well Capacity: 1,200 gal/min (approx.) pumping capacity; 800 gal/min (approx.) with largest well out of serviceDemands: 230,000 gal/day (approx.) annual average day; 580,000 gal/day (approx.) maximum dayStorage Tanks: 2 Reservoirs totaling 610,000 gallonsCurrent Households: 565 per 2010 censusRemaining Capacity: 557 (approx.) households (equivalent dwelling units)7PWS ID PWS Name PWS Type PrimaryPopulation Source ServedID3380004 DECKER ADDITION Community water system Ground water 55ID3380005 FRUITLAND CITY OF Community water system Surface water 5,087ID3380035 IDAHO WEST ESTATES Community water system Ground water 98ID3380019 LAZY RIVER MOBILE HOME PARK 1 Community water system Ground water 41ID3380007 LOMA LINDA WATER CORP Community water system Ground water 70ID3380008 NEW PLYMOUTH CITY OF Community water system Ground water 1,600ID3380009 PAYETTE CITY OF Community water system Ground water 7,433ID3380022 D & S FACTORS Non-Transient non-community system Ground water 65562 I D A H O I N F R A S T R U C T U R E G U I D E B O O K'
