Lincoln County has four highway districts. Kimama Highway District has jurisdiction of the roads located in the southeast corner of Lincoln County. The district is responsible for over 86 road miles, about 5 of which have an asphalt pavement surface. The remaining miles consist primarily of gravel. Dietrich Highway District is located in South Central Lincoln County. The district is responsible for approximately 98 road miles, most of which is paved with asphalt pavement. Shoshone Highway District is located in Northwestern Lincoln County and is responsible for over 120 road miles, most of which is paved with asphalt pavement. Richeld Highway District is located in North Central Lincoln County.
